Three bedrooms give up to eight guests room to enjoy Ueda together. A Japanese-style room with futons is on the ground floor. Upstairs are the main bedroom for two and a second bedroom for up to four. Each sleeping area has its own washbasin and bath or shower room, making the house well suited to families and groups of friends.
Comfortable bedding, towels, loungewear and carefully chosen toiletries are prepared with the same care as at Satoyama Jujo. Our concierge supports you in English and Japanese with dining, travel and requests during your stay.
The main bedroom has a bathtub; the other bedrooms have showers. These use regular water rather than natural hot-spring water.
Each bedroom also has its own toilet, making Ueda a good fit for three adult households or an extended family. Sound carries between the tatami bedroom and the shared areas; it does not offer full acoustic privacy. There is no sauna.
The main bedroom overlooks rice fields growing Uonuma Koshihikari.

The second bedroom also has its own shower, washbasin and toilet.
The third bedroom is a Japanese-style room. It has its own shower, washbasin and toilet, but is separated by wooden sliding doors.

Hotel Comforts & Amenities
Prepared with the same care as at Satoyama Jujo: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, makeup remover, toner, moisturiser, toothbrushes, cotton pads and cotton buds, hand and bath towels, loungewear, bathrobes, ponchos and slippers.
To reduce disposable plastic, hairbrushes, hair ties and razors are not supplied. Please bring your own.
Housekeeping and towel changes are provided during multi-night stays. Cots, cribs and dedicated bedding for babies or infants are not provided. Please discuss your family’s sleeping arrangements with us before booking.
Our front desk is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, Japan time. Our concierge can help in English and Japanese. The houses do not have a staffed reception on site; arrival instructions are provided in advance. -
