Spa & Sauna
A sauna with a view of the main hall of Kiroku Shrine.
The walls are tiled with heat-storing Towada stone,
and the well-fed cold water bath stays at around 13° C.
A cold water bath continuously fed with well water. Enjoy ultimate relaxation in a sauna overlooking a shrine.
Villa, the main building of Kiroku, is equipped with an indoor hinoki cypress bath and a sauna. The sauna is compact, with just enough space for two guests, but the walls are tiled with Towada stone, which is highly effective at storing heat and emits far-infrared rays. Meanwhile, the cold water bath is continuously fed with well water, and the main shrine building is visible from the relaxation space. Soaking in the well water, which is always around 13° C, and bathing in the open air while feeling the air flowing from the shrine grounds will afford with you the ultimate in relaxation. Please note that the shrine is visible from the relaxation space, which means that it is also visible from the shrine grounds. Please wear a bathing suit when using the sauna.
Sauna
The compact two-person sauna is located next to the indoor bath. Relax in the low lighting as you enjoy the sound of water sizzling on the sauna rocks and the aroma. The cold water bath is built right into the deck. It is fed with well water that stays at around 13℃ all year round. The deck and the cold water bath are visible from the shrine grounds, so please be sure to wear a bathing suit.
